Suite of Support

Bridge has always recognised that each client we work with has very different, individual support needs.  We don’t offer a ‘one size fits all’ programme of support but instead offer a range of services outlined in our  Suite of Support.

This provides support options that clients can mix and match to establish their own pathway into work.

The suite is outlined in the following table:

 

Options are available to clients either as individual elements or within a wider package of support
Level 1

Standard Service provided to all clients as a minimum:

  • Information Advice and Guidance (IAG). To identify  employment related goals and the steps towards achieving them. IAG can help clients access other services and opportunities such as voluntary work, and courses to improve self esteem that will help them progress
  • Action Planning
  • Referral (and introduction) to alternative, more appropriate support
  • Introduction to complementary agencies such as Disability Employment Advisors and benefits advice
Level 2

Pre Recruitment Support Vocational profile/Action plan

  • CV Preparation or Improvement
  • Job Searching Skills Development : E.g. making applications/writing cover letters/interview practice
  • Identification of, and introduction to, vocational or educational training opportunities
  • Job Searching
  • Support pre and post interview
Level 3

Extended Service (Subject to 3 monthly Review):

  • Job Searching – ‘Arms length’ support in identifying opportunities. Limited meetings: contact usually via phone, mail and e mail. For those clients near to job market
Level 4

 Post Recruitment Support:

  • Job- Coaching
  • To include attendance at induction, promotion of budding support, task orientation
  • Post Recruitment Monitoring
Level 5

Additional Services:

  • Subject to additional funding, provided support for those in work to maintain jobs
 The options above may be subject to our capacity levels and may be subject to a waiting list or the securing of additional funding on occasion. Methods of accessing the options will be clarified on referral or enquiry

We currently have funding to support disabled people aged 18+ living in Sheffield to develop the IT skills needed to manage their own job searching activities. The support offered is free* and takes place at our offices at Burton Street on a one to one basis at times to suit you.
